Best Cocktail Bars with a View Las Vegas 2024

There’s no better way to experience the bewitchment of Las Vegas than from a cocktail bar with a view of the Strip. As you sip your drink, you can take in the glittering lights, the towering casinos, and the endless parade of people. It’s honestly one of the best things about Sin City, and one of the best ways to truly immerse yourself.

Las Vegas offers a variety of atmospheres to suit whatever mood you and your group may be feeling. Whether you want a rooftop experience for special events, a sophisticated lounge with leather and deep oak accents, or a relaxed vibe surrounded by palm trees, a dance floor, and televisions so you’re not too far from the big game, Sin City has you covered.

The next time you’re in Las Vegas, you’ll want to visit one of these amazing cocktail bars with a view of the Strip. It’s an experience you won’t forget.

Best Romantic Restaurants in Las Vegas 2024

Legacy Club Rooftop Cocktails

Legacy Club Rooftop Cocktails overlooks the downtown Las Vegas skyline from the 60th floor of the Circa. The elegant rooftop lounge was inspired by those who helped build Las Vegas, capturing them in metal busts and striking photographs. On the outside terrace, you can relax at a firepit while taking in the great view and enjoying a classic cocktail or build your own Old Fashioned.

Keeping the tone of the Legacy Club, the dress code is elegant casual, encouraging guests to look their finest while surrounded by 500 bars of gold.

Legacy Club also offers VIP packages and craft cocktail courses along with a Sunset package which includes a champagne toast at sunset to elevate your experience.

Reservations are required, and there is a minimum table spend depending on where you are sitting.

The Legacy Club Rooftop Cocktail Lounge is open Sunday – Thursday from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am and Friday and Saturday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 am.

Hotel Bar

You may not have heard of the Hotel Bar at the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, but it should be on your list of best bars with a view. On the 23rd floor, Hotel Bar has floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views from the center of the Strip. With a robust list of specialty cocktails, wines, craft beers, and light bites, it’s the perfect place to begin or end your night in Las Vegas.

Hotel Bar is open 4:30 pm – midnight Sunday to Thursday and noon to 1 am Friday and Saturday. Reservations are not needed, but you can book a table if you prefer, and the dress code is upscale casual.

Skyfall Panoramic Bar & Lounge

On the south end of the Strip, Skyfall Lounge gives you some of the best views of the city and the Las Vegas lights from the 64th floor of the Delano hotel. The panoramic views and artisan cocktails give you a stunning escape high above the Strip. The Skyfall also offers shareable appetizers from Chef Alain Ducasse daily until 10:00 pm making it the perfect intersection of fine dining and contemporary cocktails in an upscale casual environment.

Skyfall is open Monday – Sunday from 5:00 pm to midnight with a resident DJ playing live music on Friday and Saturday from 9:00 – 1:00 am.

Foundation Room

From the 63rd floor of Mandalay Bay, you have a stunning view of the Las Vegas strip at the Foundation Room. This legendary sophisticated cocktail lounge is one of the best Las Vegas Boulevard has to offer, giving patrons everything from dining to bottle service and live entertainment. Depending on the night, the Foundation Room is an intimate stop for cocktails or a vibrant club lounge with unique hand-crafted cocktails.

There is a cover charge to enter Foundation Room, however, it is reduced if you make Reservations by calling the Host at 702-632-7631 or Group Reservations

They also offer a VIP Club Membership, which gives you exclusive benefits, including personal concierge services and reserved member seating to pre-sale access to House of Blues. If you’re interested in the VIP Club Membership, you’ll need to call the VIP Services Director at 702-632-4775 for more details.

Foundation Room is open Tuesday through Sunday from 6:00 pm to 1:00 am with an elegant casual dress code.

If you’re looking for a refined space to sip rare spirits and handcrafted cocktails with a view, Alle Lounge on 66 is the place. Located on the 66th floor of Resorts World, one of the newest hotels in Las Vegas, Alle Lounge features a stunning view of the neon lights below, globally inspired small plates, and live entertainment each Thursday through Sunday ranging from violinist to saxophonist and live DJs on Saturday nights.

The attire is elegant, upscale resort wear to fit in with your surroundings.

Alle Lounge on 66 opens at 5:00 pm daily until 2:00 am Sunday – Thursday and even later (time is relative here) on Friday and Saturday nights.

Reservations aren’t required but you’ll want them to make sure you get in.

Cheri Rooftop

The newly renamed Cheri Rooftop, formerly Chateau, will have you feeling like you’re partying in Paris while overlooking the Las Vegas strip. It’s a nice change of pace from the busy sidewalks below and offers some of the best Strip views in the city. This open-air cocktail lounge under the stars is one of the best places to have a drink or one of their signature cocktails under the iconic Eiffel Tower, combining two of the most fabulous cities in the world.

Cheri is open from 8 pm – 2 am each night and reservations are recommended. The dress code is casual nightlife attire, but you’re welcome to dress up for cocktails at Paris Las Vegas like we did.

Commonwealth

The Commonwealth on Fremont is one of my favorite bars in Downtown Las Vegas. The interior is beautiful but if you want a view, they have that too. It’s a two-story cocktail bar with a rooftop overlooking Fremont Street with music and dancing for a more lively drinking experience.

And here’s a little secret. Hidden inside the 1st floor is a true speakeasy called The Laundry Room

The dress code is dressy casual and they are only open Thursday 10 pm -2 am and Friday-Saturday 7 pm -3 am. Reservations are not needed unless you want to have a drink in The Laundry Room too.

Commonwealth offers a fun experience for everyone, and I highly recommend it.

Ghostbar

Located on the 55th floor of the Palms Casino Resort Ivory Tower, is Ghostbar. Originally opened in 2006, Ghostbar, at one time, was one of the very best rooftop bars in Sin City. It offered visitors a chance to sip craft cocktails while watching intently for the next A-list celebrity to walk through the door. It was reopened and refreshed in August 2022, and while it’s not the same A-list hot spot it was years ago, it’s still an incredibly popular destination with locals and tourists alike.

This off-Strip cocktail bar has spectacular views of the Las Vegas skyline and beyond, with live entertainment each night. There is a cover charge to get in ranging from $10-$30 per person depending on the night, and if they are having a special event, they often have a minimum table spend, so check out their calendar before making plans to get your drink on at Ghostbar.

Attire is Business Casual, but I do suggest sprucing it up a bit more on the special event nights, which may require advance reservations.

108 Drinks

The STRAT is known for its views of Las Vegas so of course they have a place for you to grab a drink and soak it all in. 108 Drinks is, you guessed it, on the 108th floor of The Strat. The bar itself is a bit bare but who is looking at the décor or your casual when you have a 360 degree view of the city?

You will have to purchase Tower admission to get up to 108 Drinks but it’s worth it and while you’re there you can grab a bite to eat. If you go Monday-Thursday you’re in just in time for the Sky High Happy Hour

Regular hours are Monday- Thursday from noon until midnight with and Friday- Sunday, noon until 1 am. You really don’t have a reason not to go have a drink at 108 Drinks.

High Roller Observation Wheel (Happy Half Hour)

Yes, I know this isn’t a cocktail lounge however, the Happy Half Hour cabins are so much more than just a way to see the spectacular Las Vegas view. They are a one-of-a-kind cocktail experience. Inside these cabins, you have an open bar and bartender for the full 30 minutes it takes to go around the High Roller Wheel at The Linq.

Guests do have to be 21 and over to enter a Happy Half Hour cabin, each holding up to 25 people. Tickets begin at $60 per person. Price varies by day of the week.

Whether you’re looking for a romantic evening or a night out with friends, these cocktail bars with a view of the Strip are the best in the city. Next time you’re in Las Vegas, take a break from the casinos and enjoy a drink with a view of the ever-changing Las Vegas city skyline.
