Check out the best Christmas events and places to see lights in Las Vegas 2023

You know the song. Come on. Sing it with me.

He’s making a list. Checking it twice. Coming to the city of card games and dice. Santa Claus is coming… to Vegas!!

This holiday season, St. Nick will be popping up all over the city, in more places than we can count, but we’ve done our best to give you a long list of places to get a photo with Santa Claus in Las Vegas.

Downtown Container Park

Come see Santa in the Park at the Downtown Container Park on Fremont Street. He’ll be stopping by November 24th -26th and then every Saturday and Sunday in December from noon until 4 pm to meet you and take pictures. It’s free to meet Santa, and when you’re done, the kids can play on the treehouse playground while you show or grab a bite to eat.

There aren’t reservations to see Santa so get there early to beat the line. Also, check out the other activities and events happening while you’re there.

Enchant Las Vegas Ballpark

Enchant Christmas at the Las Vegas Ballpark has so much to offer, from a light maze to ice skating and a Christmas Village. That’s where you’ll find the man in red at Santa’s Landing.

Kids can visit with Santa and give him their Christmas wish list before getting their photo with Santa. Professional photographers are available if you want to jump in too.

Enchant opens nightly from November 24 through December 31. Tickets begin at $25.50 for kids ages 3-17, infants 2 and under are free, and adult tickets start at $34 per person. Family 4 packs are also available starting at $95.20. Enchant also offers discounted tickets, special theme nights, and private suites to find the right tickets for your family.

Ethel M Holiday Cactus Garden

Cactus probably don’t make you think of Christmas but cover them in holiday lights, add in the big man himself, and you have a Holiday Cactus Garden. It’s a one-stop shop for Christmas lights, hot chocolate, and a free photo with Santa at Ethel M Chocolates.

The Holiday Garden is open nightly from 5-10 p.m., November 3 until December 31. If you go on opening weekend, November 3-5, enjoy complimentary hot chocolate from 5-7 p.m. and free Christmas light glasses for kids under 12 while supplies last.

Glittering Lights Santa Tram at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

You may already know at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, you can drive through 2.5 miles of lights of Glittering Lights, but did you know they added a Santa Tram? Adorned with festive decorations, delightful games, and numerous opportunities for family selfies, this experience is sure to become a Christmas tradition. But the best part is that Santa will be there, ready for his photo op every night from November 23 to December 23.

Spaces are limited and do require advance tickets. Individual tickets are $25 per person, but the VIP Family 4-Pack is only $29.75. This package includes 4 tickets to the Santa Tram, 4 hot cocoas, 4 kettle corn, and a Glittering Lights ornament.

Mystic Falls Park at Sam’s Town

Mystic Falls Park at Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall is a great place to visit all year, but it’s even better during the holiday season. This indoor park is decked out in holiday decorations and lights, including nightly laser shows on their waterfall. It’s a winter experience you don’t want to miss and if you stop by on the weekends, you can take a photo with Santa Claus in the Mystic Falls Park gazebo.

Santa will join the festivities from 4-8 pm on Fridays and 11 am – 7 pm on Saturdays and Sundays starting November 24th.

There isn’t a charge to enter Mystic Falls Park or to take a photo with Santa but you will need to use your own camera. His elves are too busy making toys.

When I think of pictures with Santa, it’s always in a mall, and it warms my heart to know this tradition still lives on. For some holiday shopping and Santa photos, check out these places.
